Building Guyana’s Licensed-Agent Network

Every serious agent belongs here. Here’s how verification and licensing work — and why getting licensed is the smartest move for your business.

✓ Verified Agent

You’ve shown you’re a real, active agent — professional references plus your recent listings and properties sold, verified by us. Verified means trusted, with your license still on the way.

🛡️ Licensed Agent

The badge buyers trust most. You’ve sent your real estate license (issued by the GRA) and proof you’re in good standing, including NIS — and it shows on your profile and every listing. This is where we’re steering the whole network.

Why get licensed

  • More trust, more deals — buyers (especially the diaspora) look for the Licensed badge before they reach out.
  • Stand out — a prominent Licensed Agent badge on your profile and listings.
  • Future-ready — Portal Home Hub is moving toward a licensed-agent network, so getting licensed keeps you ahead.

The basics

  1. Get started — sign up and set up your profile. Each listing is reviewed for quality before it goes live.
  2. Earn Verified — send professional references plus your recent listings and properties sold; we confirm you’re an active, genuine agent.
  3. Earn Licensed — send a copy of your real estate license (issued by the GRA) and proof of good standing, including NIS; we confirm and upgrade your badge.

In Guyana, real estate licenses are currently issued through the GRA, and registered businesses must be in good standing with the NIS. We’ll add direct contacts and step-by-step details here soon.
